Q: The software asks for a license code. Do I need a license code to try the software?
A: No. You can try the software trial version without a license code. It has 30 seconds conversion limitation for audio files and 3 minutes for video. After the program activation, it will convert your files completely.

Q: What are the system requirements?
A: Minimum system requirements are: Windows Vista x32/x64, Windows XP x32/x64, Windows 2003 x32/x64 or Windows 7, 256 Megabyte RAM, Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player or Real Player installed (depending on the file format you're converting)

Q: What kind of files can SoundTaxi convert?
A: SoundTaxi can convert any file that can be played in Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player or Real Player on your PC, e.g. DRM protected and non-protected WMA, M4P, AAC, WAV, MP3, OGG, OMA, WMV files etc. SoundTaxi also supports Real Audio files and audio books.

Q: What output formats does SoundTaxi support?
A: For audio conversion SoundTaxi output formats are MP3, M4A (MPEG4 AAC) and WAV, for video conversion - MP4 and AVI.

Q: Why can't I convert my files?
A: Please be sure you can play your files in Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player or Real Player (depending on the file type) on your computer. If you can do this, SoundTaxi must convert these files.

Q: Can I copy my DRM protected files to iPod?
A: Yes, you can copy DRM protected files to your iPod after you have converted them with SoundTaxi.

Q: Can I burn my DRM protected music to CD?
A: Yes, you can burn your songs to CD, after you have converted them with SoundTaxi.

Q: Does SoundTaxi preserve ID3 tags?
A: Yes, it does.

Q: How do I achieve the best conversion quality?
A: Please check your SoundTaxi settings, select the highest compression quality and make sure that your PC is not used by any CPU-intensive tasks during the conversion process.

Q: I didn't get my license code!
A: Please e-mail SoundTaxi support">support@soundtaxi.info, describe your problem and provide us with your order details (your full name, e-mail address, order / reference number).

Q: Can I use my SoundTaxi license code on multiple computers?
A: No. One license code can be activated only on one PC.

Q: What is the difference between Platinum and Professional editions?
A: SoundTaxi Platinum edition converts 2 files at the same time and has maximum audio conversion speed 6X, while Professional edition can convert up to 16 files simultaneously with summary conversion speed up to 50X (depending on your PC performance). SoundTaxi Professional edition also includes audio CD Ripper.

Q: Can I convert video files with SoundTaxi?
A: Yes, you can. Please note that you need SoundTaxi Pro+VideoRip edition for this. Among others formats are supported: M4P, WMV, M4V, AVI, DivX and many others.

Q: I can't find SoundTaxi YouTube Ripper!
A: SoundTaxi YouTube Ripper is a plug-in for Internet Explorer. You can convert and save the desired video clips by clicking "Rip YouTube File" button in the Internet Explorer.

Q: Can I run SoundTaxi on my Mac computer?
A: Yes. SoundTaxi can work on your Mac computer. Please refer to this guide Soundtaxi on Mac, how to guide.

Q: SoundTaxi shows R&R error. How do I fix this?
